Israel's representative for Eurovision 2025, Yuval Raphael, is half Azerbaijani.

Axar.az reports the Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan shared this information on X.

"We just found out that Yuval, Israel’s Eurovision star, is part Azerbaijani! So even though Azerbaijan didn’t make it to the final—Azerbaijanis still have a voice on that stage.

Let’s make some noise for our shared star. Vote for Yuval! " the post said.
