A special event dedicated to May 28 – Independence Day was held at the Azerbaijan House in the village of Kavashra, Lebanon.

Axar.az reports Turkmen residents of the village participated in the event.

Teachers at the Azerbaijan House, who teach Azerbaijani history, culture, and the Turkish language, gave joint presentations. Through these sessions, they shared insights into Azerbaijan’s rich history and cultural heritage. Using interactive methods, students were informed about the founding of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR), its significance in the country’s statehood history, and traditions of independence.

The event was designed to be engaging and educational for children, with the main goal of increasing young people’s knowledge of national values and history and fostering a strong sense of patriotism.
