The farewell ceremony for Ziyaddin and Huseyn Safarov, who were killed in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg, has been held in the village of Hacibadalli, Aghjabadi district.

Axar.az reports that the brothers were laid to rest at the Hacibadalli village cemetery.

Family members, relatives, and representatives of the public from Aghdam and Aghjabadi districts attended the funeral.

As a reminder, the Safarov brothers were killed during a raid by Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) on homes belonging to Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg on the morning of June 27. Dozens of other Azerbaijanis were also detained during the operation.
