On November 15, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev had a one-on-one meeting with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent.

Axar.az reports that during the meeting, it was noted that relations based on alliance and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are developing successfully.

The role of President Ilham Aliyev's regular visits to Uzbekistan and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visits to our country in the development of our relations was emphasized.

It was noted with satisfaction that cooperation between Azerbaijan and the countries of Central Asia has expanded further in recent times, and in this regard, the importance of the participation of our head of state in the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia was touched upon.

During the conversation, the heads of state exchanged views on the prospects for relations between our countries.
