Iran’s FM barred from Munich Security Conference

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will not be able to attend the Munich Security Conference.

Axar.az reports that the decision was made by the organizers against the backdrop of the harsh suppression of protests in Iran.

The organizers' statement noted that invitations were sent to representatives of the Iranian government, including Abbas Araghchi, a few weeks ago, but in light of current events, the Munich Security Conference is withdrawing these invitations.

The Munich Security Conference will be held on February 13-15.
