Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Masrour Barzani, in Davos on January 20.

Axar.az reports that Masrour Barzani conveyed the greetings of Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, to President Ilham Aliyev.

Expressing his gratitude for the greetings, the head of state asked that his own regards be conveyed to Nechirvan Barzani as well.

During the conversation, Masrour Barzani’s visits to Azerbaijan and his meetings with President Ilham Aliyev were recalled with satisfaction.

The meeting included an exchange of views on prospects for developing economic, trade, cultural, and humanitarian relations, and discussions on issues of mutual interest.
