Azerbaijan sends new batch of electrical aid to Ukraine -

Another shipment of electrical equipment intended as humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan to Ukraine was dispatched today from the territory of Sumgait Technologies Park.

Axar.az reports that the delivery of the aid is being ensured by the Ministry of Energy in accordance with a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on January 16, 2026.

The humanitarian cargo includes a total of 12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, 5 transformers, and 27,000 meters of cables and wires.

The aid, organized at the request of the Ukrainian side, is valued at 1 million US dollars.

It is noted that Azerbaijan has previously sent humanitarian assistance related to electricity supply to Ukraine.

Overall, Azerbaijan’s total humanitarian support to Ukraine, including aid aimed at recovery and reconstruction, has now exceeded 45 million US dollars.
