On February 10, 2026, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, received a delegation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, led by Senior Vice President Hugh Chox. The delegation includes executives and representatives from 31 companies.
Axar.az informs during the meeting, the parties discussed the steps taken toward establishing strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and the United States, current and planned bilateral cooperation in energy, trade, transport, logistics, and regional connectivity, including the TRIPP route, as well as economic investment opportunities and prospects for cooperation with the U.S. private sector in key areas.
The bilateral discussions held in specific sectors following the Washington Peace Summit on August 8 last year, aimed at preparing the Strategic Partnership Charter, were highly appreciated. The Charter, once signed, is expected to give further momentum to bilateral relations.
The meeting also focused on Azerbaijan’s important role in regional energy security, the significance of developing renewable energy resources, diversification of trade routes in the Middle Corridor, the favorable business and investment climate in Azerbaijan, opportunities for establishing new connections, and other mutually interesting topics.
