Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received a delegation led by the President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Yammahi.

It was noted that during the meeting, Azerbaijan's relations with Arab countries and the Arab League and the Arab Parliament in general, the regional security situation in the Middle East and our region, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as well as the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia were discussed.
It was emphasized at the meeting that the development of relations with Muslim, including Arab, countries is one of the priority directions in Azerbaijan's foreign policy. It was noted that Azerbaijan has always worked to ensure stability, security, and peace in the region, and the importance of increasing efforts to prevent conflicts and wars.
Solidarity was expressed regarding the importance of efforts to resolve the current situation in the Gaza Strip. It was once again emphasized that in the context of the Palestinian issue, Azerbaijan is guided by the principle of "two states", supports the norms and principles of international law, and supports a solution in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council.
At the same time, the importance of Azerbaijan's mediation efforts in recent years was emphasized.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided the other party with detailed information about the past conflict, the Azerbaijani-Armenian peace process, and the restoration and reconstruction work carried out in our liberated territories during the post-conflict period.
The meeting also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
