Evacuation of foreign nationals continues

Evacuation of foreign nationals from Iran continues.

Axar.az reports that the Hungarian ambassador to Iran and several embassy staff were evacuated through the Astara border crossing and entered Azerbaijani territory.

The evacuees underwent document checks and registration procedures at the border crossing and were allowed into the country in accordance with security protocols.

The evacuation of diplomatic staff and foreign nationals from Iran is continuing in stages.
