Iran proposes Islamic Council bloc for Middle East

We can establish a Middle East Islamic Council with Islamic countries, where we can manage our security, economic, cultural, and political relations together.

Axar.az reports, citing Mehr, that Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said during a Nowruz speech that this structure would ensure peace, security, and stability in the region.

The Iranian president also accused Israel and the US of causing chaos, instability, and destruction in the region.

"We do not need the presence of foreign powers in the region. We have no right to fight one another. We must not fall into conflicts under any pretext set by our enemies. The existing divisions are the result of a malicious enemy that, through such actions and behavior, is creating problems within our society and among us Muslims," he added.
