The “Leadership Development Program” implemented within the framework of cooperation between “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC (ADY) and the Executive Education Program of ADA University has been successfully completed.
Axar.az reports that, on this occasion, a graduation ceremony was held at the university on May 20, 2026, with the participation of ADY and ADA University leadership, and certificates were awarded to the participants.
Speaking at the event, ADY Chairman’s Advisor Emil Mammadov, Head of the Human Resources Department Ceyhun Nagiyev, ADA University Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Elkin Nurmammadov, and Advisor to the Vice Rector and Head of the Executive Education Program Aygun Hajiyeva noted that development programs are of great importance in improving management quality, strengthening professional and leadership skills of executives, and enhancing the organization’s competitiveness.
The “Leadership Development Program,” which ran from October 15, 2025, to April 10, 2026, involved more than 160 managerial employees representing ADY and its subsidiary organizations. Within the program, training sessions were conducted by professional experts on key competencies such as fundamentals of management, emotional intelligence, change management, ownership and responsibility, and effective communication. In addition, real workplace situations were analyzed.
It is noted that ADY considers human capital development a strategic priority and continues to implement measures aimed at strengthening employees’ leadership potential and promoting modern management approaches. This initiative makes a significant contribution to the development of professional management culture and the formation of sustainable institutional capacity in the country’s transport sector.
