Tbilisi’s Peace Bridge lit in Azerbaijani flag

One of the symbolic landmarks of Georgia’s capital Tbilisi — the Peace Bridge — has been illuminated in the colors of the Azerbaijani flag.

Axar.az reports that a light show featuring the colors of the Azerbaijani flag was organized in Tbilisi on the occasion of May 28 — Azerbaijan’s Independence Day.

The Peace Bridge, one of the architectural symbols of the city, was lit up in blue, red, and green — the colors of the Azerbaijani flag.

The event is being viewed as a sign of attention and respect from friendly Georgia toward Azerbaijan’s national holiday.

It should be noted that illuminating symbolic landmarks in Tbilisi in honor of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day has become a tradition over recent years and has been positively received by the local public.
