Azerbaijan and Iran FMs discuss regional security issues

On June 4, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi.

Axar.az reports that during the phone call, the sides discussed the current state of Azerbaijan-Iran bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation, as well as the situation in the region and security issues.

Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi provided detailed information on the negotiation process surrounding Iran and the latest developments. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts in maintaining regional stability.

The parties also discussed other issues and recent developments on the bilateral and regional agenda.
