MFA: Three civilians injured in two mine blasts

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry said three civilians were injured in two separate landmine explosions over two consecutive days.

Axar.az reports that the ministry stated on its X account that since the end of the 2020 war, 436 people have fallen victim to landmines in Azerbaijan.

"Two consecutive days. Two landmine explosions. Three civilians injured. These tragic incidents are a stark reminder that the deadly legacy of conflict continues to threaten lives, hinder reconstruction and impede the safe return of displaced persons,” the ministry said.

It should be noted that a mine explosion occurred in Khojavand on August 12 and another in Kalbajar on August 13.
