Azerbaijan has expressed condolences over the devastating floods and landslides that struck the Nepal-China border region, causing loss of life and extensive destruction.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan made a statement on its X account.

“We express deep sorrow over the devastating floods and landslides that struck the Nepal–China border region, causing loss of life and extensive destruction,” Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry said.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this tragic disaster, and wish a swift recovery to those injured,” it added.

“We hope that the ongoing search and rescue efforts will lead to the safe recovery of those still missing,” the ministry said.
