Information has circulated on social media claiming that representatives of several countries, including the Azerbaijani delegation, were not present in the meeting hall during Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s speech at the UN General Assembly.

Axar.az reports, citing APА, the Azerbaijani delegation was present in the hall during Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s speech at the UN yesterday.

Claims that the Azerbaijani delegation was allegedly absent from the hall during the Iranian President’s speech are disinformation and fake.

According to information available in open sources, the US representative was the one who left the hall during Pezeshkian’s speech at the UN General Assembly on September 23. The Israeli delegation was reportedly not present during the Iranian President’s speech. Reports that the Azerbaijani delegation left the hall are not true.
