Erdogan commemorates Azerbaijani martyrs on Remembrance Day

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has commemorated Azerbaijani servicemen who were martyred during the liberation of Karabakh from occupation.

Axar.az reports that Erdogan shared a message on X on September 27, Azerbaijan’s Remembrance Day.

“On this Remembrance Day of friendly and brotherly Azerbaijan, I respectfully honor the memory of our heroic martyrs and pay tribute to our veterans who fought to liberate Karabakh from occupation and restore its freedom.

Karabakh is Azerbaijani land and will remain so forever,” Erdogan wrote.
