A delegation headed by Adrienn Kiraly, Director for Eastern Neighbourhood and Turkiye at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood, has visited Nakhchivan.

Axar.az reports that on September 29, Azerbaijani President’s Special Representative in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Jeyhun Jalilov met with the delegation led by Adrienn Kiraly.

The meeting emphasized that relations between Azerbaijan and the European Commission, based on strategic partnership, friendship and mutual trust, are successfully developing under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.

Kiraly highlighted the significance of the visit and noted the importance of the information provided on the development of Nakhchivan’s transport, energy and economic potential. The economic aspects of projects planned by the European Commission for implementation in the coming years, as well as prospects for developing cooperation, were discussed.
