Turkiye and Azerbaijan have signed defence industry agreements worth more than $500 million, Turkish Defense Industry Agency Chairman Haluk Gorgun said.

Axar.az reports that Gorgun wrote on X that the agreements would strengthen the defense capabilities of both countries.

The deals include a Hurkush aircraft supply contract with TUSAS, an MoU with ASELSAN on the supply of the ALP-100 radar, and supply contracts with Baykar for Mizrak loitering munitions and Antidot systems.

A supply contract was also signed with ROKETSAN for the Barbaros coastal defence system.

Gorgun said the agreements reflected continued defence industry cooperation between Turkiye and Azerbaijan under the leadership of Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev.
