Putin hopes Turkish premier’s visit to Russia will be basis

Binali Yildirim’s visit to Russia was the first since his appointment head of the Turkish government in May 2016.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed the hope that the visit of Turkish Prime Minister, Binali Yildirim, to Russia will be the basis for the upcoming summit.

Yildirim’s visit to Russia was the first since his appointment head of the Turkish government in May 2016.

"Please, convey my most sincere greetings and wishes of wellbeing to the president. We are grateful to him for signing the law on ratifying our agreement on the Turkish Stream," Putin said at a meeting with the Turkish prime minister.
