Armenians are threatening Uzbek historian

Armenians applied General Prosecutor of Uzbekistan to start investigation against influential Uzbek historian Shukhrat Barlas (Salamov).

Axar.az reports that, historian told in his interview with 1news.az.

According to historian, he and his family's life in danger for books "Turkustan and Southern Caucasus in XIX, XX centuries. Dashnaks from Fargana to Karabakh" and "Karabakh: War ideas".

Historian noted that he is being protected by Security and Law Enforcement Organizations. According to lawyer of Shukhrat Salamov, his home was attacked and unknown people broke windows of house. His lawyer Mukhtar Mustafaev said that, if prosecutors will start investigation against historian, Azerbaijan will stand by him.
