Naked anti - Trump protester -

A student has criticised Facebook for removing photos of her naked anti-Trump protest.

Emma Dyason, 19, received a message from the social media site stating pictures she posted breached its female nudity policy.

Dyason, a second year fine art student at Plymouth University, is adamant that all necessary body parts were covered in the pictures in accordance with Facebook's conditions.

"President Obama is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country," the statement said. "Citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake."
Emma, of Fritwell, Oxfordshire, said: "Last week I produced and executed a photo shoot, taking a feminist/protest approach by writing sexist quotes made by Trump onto scrap pieces of cardboard, and having women pose 'nude' in the aim to empower women."

"I posted three of the images on Facebook, which resulted in many people sharing the post, much to my delight.

"A day after posting the images, I received a message from Facebook informing me that they had removed the post due to 'female nudity,' and also threatened to close my account."

Emma has since accused Facebook of sexism.

"They also state that they do not condone sexist behaviour," she said. "Which in my opinion, is exactly the kind of behavior they have shown towards this project."

She has reportedly contacted FB moderators to no avail.

Emma isn't the first to employ anti-Trump signs - or just generally be anti-Trump. Last month saw protesters across the world congregate to condemn the president's so-called Muslim ban.

"President Obama is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country," a statement on behalf of Barack Obama said at the time. "Citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organise and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake."
