Europe adopts regulation on visa liberalization

The European Council has adopted a regulation on visa liberalization for Georgians travelling to the European Union, the Council’s press service reported on Monday.

"On 27 February 2017, the Council adopted a regulation on visa liberalization for Georgians travelling to the EU for a period of stay of 90 days in any 180-day period," the statement reads.

The European Council has also adopted a regulation to revise the suspension mechanism which can be applied to all existing visa liberalization agreements.
