German Chancellor Angela Merkel will visit Tunisia on March 3 to hold meetings with the state’s President Beji Caid Essebsi and Prime Minister Youssef Chahed.
Merkel is expected to discuss with the Tunisian leader the issues of bilateral and economic relations, migration and cooperation in the sphere of security, the chancellor’s website said.
On Thursday, Merkel paid a visit to Egypt to discuss bilateral relations and migration with the state’s President Abdel Fattah Sisi.
