Reign of Assad comes to an end

The reign of Syrian President Bashar Assad will soon come to an end. This was stated by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in the Italian city of Lucca after a meeting with the foreign ministers of the G7 countries.

"The reign of Assad comes to an end" - quoted Tillerson Italian newspaper Corriere della sera.

He also said that Russia must choose between relations with the United States and support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
