The plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2017 was held on June 2, with Russian President Vladimir Putin, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Federal Chancellor of Austria Christian Kern and President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon taking part in the discussion.
The moderator of this year's plenary session is NBC News anchor Megyn Kelly.
The SPIEF-2017 kicked off in St. Petersburg on Thursday and will continue through Saturday. Sputnik is an official media partner of SPIEF.
