Mr Trump thinks he is a victim of a conspiracy which is designed to end his presidency, Associated Press reports.
Axar.az reports citing Daily Express.
Earlier this week, the head of the Republican National Committee said the investigation should be squashed.
Chairwoman Ronna McDanie said: “This is a fishing expedition. I’m calling for an end to the investigations about President Trump’s campaign colluding with the Russians.
“Not yet do you have a single senator saying there’s definitive evidence that there’s been any collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians.”
Yesterday morning, Mr Trump confirmed he was being investigated for firing FBI Director James Comey and appeared to label the probe into him a “Witch Hunt”.
President Trump tweeted: "I am being investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told me to fire the FBI Director!"
It has been reported that “the man” in the tweet is Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
Mr Rosenstein wrote a memo calling for Mr Comey to be sacked and approved the appointment of a special counsel Robert Mueller to look into alleged Russian election meddling.
Dianne Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said: "The message the President is sending through his tweets is that he believes the rule of law doesn't apply to him and that anyone who thinks otherwise will be fired.”
Last week, Mr Comey testified under oath to Congress that Mr Trump told him in a private meeting: “I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go.”
Mr Trump has since declared Mr Comey said things that “weren’t true” while under oath.
