The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan revealed about the visiting of Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan told Axar.az that Sergey Lavrov will pay an official visit to Baku on November 19-20.

Russian Foreign Minister is expected to meet Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov and other officials during the meeting.

After the meeting, a press conference will be held with the attendance of FMs of Azerbaijan and Russia.

Bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, which are neighbours and friendly countries, have a strategic partnership character. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.
