Janelidze: Azerbaijan is strategic partner of Georgia

Turkey and Azerbaijan are of great importance for Georgia, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze said in Public Television.

According to him, both of these countries are strategic partners of Georgia: ‘We are implementing regional and significant projects and our cooperation covers not only three countries, but also whole region and Europe’.

Janelidze said Georgia cooperates with Azerbaijan in many-sided formats: ‘We participate in the Eastern Partnership program and working on democratic institutions and relations with Europe’.

The minister noted that Georgia must not participate in assessment of internal political processes in partner countries.
