Pashinyan: Russia to remain Armenia’s strategic ally

Russia and Armenia will remain strategic allies, Armenia’s opposition leader and the only candidate for the prime minister Nikol Pashinyan told the parliament on Tuesday.

Axar.az informs citing TASS.

"We consider Russia as a strategic ally, our movement does not create threats for this," Pashinyan said. "If I am elected [as the prime minister], Armenia will remain a member of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Collective Security Treaty Organization," he said.
