The US will be on the losing side in terms of the Iran nuclear deal because it did not adhere to the agreement, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Wednesday, as he criticized the U.S. decision to withdraw from the agreement.

Axar.az reported citing Daily Sabah.

"You cannot just simply cancel international agreements as you wish," Erdoğan said, adding that the U.S.' attitude is unacceptable.

Donald Trump pulled America out of the Iran nuclear deal on Tuesday, reimposing sanctions on the regime and delivering on an election campaign promise.

The US president said the “defective” 2015 agreement would not stop Iran developing a nuclear bomb and signed a presidential memorandum enacting the US withdrawal.
