Macron, Rouhani agree to continue work on implementation

Presidents Emmanuel Macron of France and Hassan Rouhani of Iran agreed in Wednesday’s telephone call to carry on with the joint work aimed at implementing the Iran nuclear deal and at maintaining stability in the region, says a statement circulated by the Elysee Palace.

Axar.az reports citing TASS.

"The French president and the Iranian president agreed to continue their joint work with all concerned states in order to keep implementing the nuclear deal and preserve regional stability," Macron's office said.

The statement adds that the two countries’ foreign ministers would meet to negotiate this prospect immediately.
