‘During past 15 years, 15,000 km-road has been constructed in Azerbaijan. During these years, 7 airports were also built. Heydar Aliyev International Airport has been awarded a 5-star status’, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at the opening of the Baku International Sea Trade Port Complex.

‘We modernized our railway infrastructure, are renewing existing railway lines, constructing new railway lines. We purchase locomotives, wagons. Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway was launched in this place in October 2017. This was a historic project. We connected Baku with Europe. This rout will bring benefit to us for long years. Successful implementation of this project will strengthen Azerbaijan’s regional position’, he said.
