Working Group on Caspian legal status to meet on May 21-24

The next meeting of the Ad Hoc Working Group for development of a Convention on the Caspian Sea’s legal status is planned to be held on May 21-24 2018, in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The Foreign Ministry told APA.

Azerbaijan’s delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov is on a visit to Astana to take part in the summit.

During the meeting, discussions on other documents concerning the 5th summit of the heads of state of the Caspian littoral states, along with the Convention are expected to be held.

Azerbaijan also plans to hold bilateral political consultations with Kazakhstan within the framework of the visit.
