Azerbaijani Ambassador presents credentials to Indian President

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador in India Ashraf Shikhaliyev has presented his Letter of Credence to the Prezident of Indiai Ram Nath Kovind.

Axar.az informs citing “United News of India” publication.

Besides the Azerbaijani Ambassor, the representatives of Lesotho, Cyprus, Samoa and Jamaica also presented their Letters of Credence in the ceremony held in Presidential Residency.

Notably, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an executive order on April 2 of this year on assignment of Shikhaliyev Ashraf Farhad as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the country in India.
