Under the country's constitution, Japan is a state of peace. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be resolved to ensure peace and stability in the South Caucasus. Japan supports the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries on the conflict and is awaiting a peaceful settlement based on the principles of international law. "
