Karabakh rivalry of Washington and Moscow: Chances -

Washington DC wants to take the initiative of solving the Nagorno Karabakh issue from Moscow.

Axar.az reports that, Russian political scientist Sergey Markov mentioned this during his comment to Report, on the US Secretary of State's proposal about holding the next meeting of Foreign Ministers on Nagorno Karabakh issue in Washington.

"While ago, Russia put their army to Syria and started a war against ISIS. US also immediately sent their troops to Syria and started a real war against ISIS as the leader of coalition. There was formed something like competition of fighters against ISIS" - S.Markov said.

According to him, Washington DC became jealous after they realized that Russia's mediation would have real impact on the solving of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

"Maybe, there will start the competition of peacekeepers of Karabakh negotiations" - Russian expert mentioned.

Talking about the adjusment perspectives, political scientist stressed that he has hopes about the solving of conflict:

"From my point of view, there are good chances about the achievement of serious improvements on the negotiations of adjusment of Nagorno Karabakh conflict".
