Tusk has 2 ways right now: Either to enjoy his last trip and be satisfied with what he got, or to take a step that Europe will never forget, resign and leave.

Russian political expert Oleg Kuznetsov told this to Axar.az during his comment on Donald Tusk's visit to Caucasian.

"Donald Tusk is a neo-conservative politician. This is the second time that he is the head of the EU Council, which will soon end his career" - Kuznetsov told.

According to him, as a result, the politician's words and deeds should be regarded as a reaction from a politician who is soon to leave his post - calm and humorous or loudly and ambitious:

"If he had not voiced his concerns about the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, Tusk's Baku trip might be short and ordinary visit. With this speech he expressed the traditional position of the European Union on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict."

Kuznetsov noted out that official Baku considered him is no longer as a potential employee, but as a politician who has few days left in office.

"But it should not be forgotten that Tusk's statement expresses the unchangeable position of the European Union on the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and this step should be regarded as an important political gesture from Europe to Azerbaijan. Because with this gesture, the European Union has sent an official signal to official Yerevan about not changing its position".

According to the political scientist, it would be wrong to expect the European Union to be an iniative until there will be a new leader instead of Tusk:

"Unfortunately, this process, which will take place in Brussels, will work for the benefit of Armenia. Because during this period EU will not show political and diplomatic pressure on Yerevan. Therefore, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict still remains between its parties: Azerbaijan with political support, while the Armenian side gains time".
