"The Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan insists on the necessity and preservation of the developing cooperation between the two friendly and neighboring countries and states that reports disseminated on some news portals of Azerbaijan are groundless. The Embassy refutes this news," Seyid Ali Musevi, Press Secretary of the Iranian Embassy to Azerbaijan told APA.

Axar.az reports that he noted that Iran has always supported the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan: "At the same time, we condemn any steps could harm regional peace and stability."
