Axar.az reports citing AA that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke late Tuesday to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, according to Turkey’s Presidential Communications Directorate.

Erdogan and Merkel discussed bilateral relations and regional issues, the directorate said in a statement.
