Pompeo meets with Greek Defense Minister

Secretary Michael R. Pompeo met today with Greek Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos in Athens.

Axar.az reports citing State.gov that Secretary Pompeo and Defense Minister Panagiotopoulos discussed bilateral security cooperation further bolstered by the U.S.-Greece Mutual Defense Agreement. The Secretary conveyed U.S. appreciation for Greece’s vital contributions as a NATO Ally and for meeting the two percent spending commitment.
