Does US change Turkey to Greece? - Pompeo announced

The US does not see Greece as a substitute for Turkey in the military.

Axar.az reports this was said by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

“I hope they are not competing with each other in this area. Washington treats Greece and Turkey as each state individually. Each has a unique set of characteristics and unique capabilities to ensure a positive outcome in NATO, ”the US official said.

It should be noted that the United States will set up military bases in Greece in response to recent allegations of Turkey's withdrawal from NATO. It is alleged that Washington plans to create a buffer against the "out-allied" Turkey.
