The Pentagon chief called Shoigu - the first time

US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu made a phone call for the first time.

Axar.az reports this was stated by the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.

No information was given on what the ministers discussed.

The ministry said the phone conversation was initiated by the American side.
