Azerbaijan has long been a reliable energy ally.

Axar.az reports this was said by the head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Kestutis Jankauskas at the "Structural Consultations on the Future of Eastern Partnership" event at the Absheron Hotel.

Jankauskas said relations between the EU and Azerbaijan are developing rapidly:

"In recent years, we have cooperated with 34 institutions and implemented 21 projects in Azerbaijan. We are already cooperating not only in the energy sector but also in the economic and social spheres.
