Putin invited Ilham Aliyev to the EU summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited the leaders of the non-EU countries to the informal economic summit of the organization in St. Petersburg.

Axar.az reports that the proposal was voiced at a meeting of the CIS presidents in Ashgabat. He said at the St. Petersburg meeting that he would be able to exchange views with leaders on current issues and international issues.

The meeting of Petersburg will take place on December 20.
