Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit Azerbaijan.

Axar.az report citing Anadolu News Agency.

It was noted that the Turkish leader will attend the 7th Summit of the Turkic Council in Baku on October 14.

The Summit is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Nakhchivan Agreement on the establishment of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States. The founding members of the organization are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.

It is expected that Uzbekistan will join the organization in Baku and make decisions regarding the activities of the Turkic Council's European office in Budapest.

During the summit, the first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, will be named honorary chairman of the Turkic Council.

The summit will also establish a Coordination Committee of the Turkic Council, which coordinates the activities of such organizations as TurkPA, TURKSOY, Turkish Academy, Turkish Culture and Heritage Fund, Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

R.T. Erdogan will hold bilateral meetings with the leaders of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States.

Turkish President's visit will end on October 15.
