The sanctions against Turkey were approved

EU governments have approved the EU Council's decision to impose sanctions on Turkey.

Axar.az reports the decision was made on the first day of the summit in Brussels.

Note that European countries indicate Turkey's drilling in the special economic zone of Cyprus as a reason for sanctions.
