US urges Europe: The real threat is China

China is a major threat to Western countries.

Axar.az reports this was stated by Mark Esper during his speech at the Marshall Foundation.

“Europe is also beginning to recognize the threat from China. They are accustomed to focusing on the threat that is not far away, but directly in front of them. I think that in the long-term, China is a more serious threat to us than Russia.

In the US National Defense Strategy, China ranks first, while Russia is second. Russia and China use their powers to force a change in the strategic situation, ”he said.
