Japanese minister resigns amid melon scandal

Japan's Economy, Commerce and Industry Minister resigns

Axar.az reports that the minister is accused of minor bribery to voters.

In 2007, the minister was accused of distributing melons and cancer to win votes in the pre-election headquarters.

Note that these products are considered delicacies in Japan.
